The Third Post of my Presidential Campaign!

Hello, Again, My Fellow Americans!

Well, the campaign is really heating up! I just got a call from Barack Obama to see if I'd consider being his running-mate for VP in 2008. Naturally, I had to say "No way, Jose!" because I figure it's all-or-nothing - either I'm the top-banana, or it's not even worth the effort to print up any campaign posters.

Next Hillary called me, to see if I'd like to be her Secretary of State, and I said, "Secretary?! Secretary?!?! You think I spent all these years in college just so I could be somebody's &$#$*&#&* typist?!?! Sheesh, lady, get a grip!!"

Anyhow, I just wanted to let all you loyal supporters know what's going on. I'll keep you posted. Just keep sending those huge contributions to "Aly For President" and, sooner or later, I'll let you know exactly which year I'll officially be running for office.

Hey, My Fellow Americans!

Here I am, with my second post on my presidential-campaign Blog!

Not much has happened since last time, other than Senator John Kerry announced yesterday (Wednesday) that he wouldn't be running for president in 2008, so that means there's less competition for me!

Hi, World!

This is my very first post of my very first Blog! Yo!

Okay, okay, since there are "Truth in Advertising" Laws, and since I am running for President, I guess I should confess that my campaign manager and ghost-writer (BOO!) Frank is really writing these words, to get me started. And, since I told him Sunday night that I probably wouldn't start my real presidential campaign for at least 20 years, maybe this post is a little premature. But I figure, what the heck, it'll probably take a while to raise the several hundred million bucks I'll need to run my campaign, so it never hurts to get a nice running start!
